In my last post, I predicted that Kevin Durrant would make a difference in the series, and boy did he make a difference. He scored 38 points in a 113-91 Warriors rout. We all thought this was going to be closer, but ESPN said the Cavs have a 7% chance of winning. It looks like the Warriors are on their way to getting their revenge. They will try to come one win closer tonight at 8:00.
In the NHL, the Predators finally broke through and beat the Penguins. In Game One, the Predators had an early momentum, but when P.K. Subban's goal got overturned because of an offside, they lost that momentum. The Penguins took advantage of this and took a 3-0 lead, but Nashville tied it. The Penguins eventually won, but they only took 12 shots. The Predators had a chip on their shoulders in Game 2, and Pittsburgh took advantage. They took a 2-0 series lead with a 4-1 win, but the series moved to Nashville, and at one point, the Predators won 11 straight home playoff games. The Penguins took an early lead, but Nashville scored five unanswered goals to bring the series to 2-1.
The first no-hitter of 2017 was thrown yesterday, when Edinson Volquez beat the Diamond-backs 3-0. He struck out 10 and only threw 96 pitches. This is the best time for sports. The Stanley Cup, NBA Finals, and MLB are all happening at the same time. Enjoy the games!
The Cleveland Cavaliers are trying to do something even more impossible than what they did last year: come back form being down 3-0 in the series. The Warriors dominated the first two games, but game 3 was a thriller that the Warriors barely won. Last night however, it was the Cavs who dominated. They set some many records, that in order to see them all, you have to click here. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/19593666/nba-playoffs-2017-nba-finals-records-set-game-4 Also there is an incredible play by Lebron. Can he lead Cleveland to a second straight title, or will Golden State use their home court advantage? Speaking of home advantage, the Penguins creamed the Predators in game 5 in Pittsburgh. However, I think the Preds will force a game 7, because game 6 is in Nashville. The Finals are coming to a dramatic end, so be sure not to miss a moment.
