In my last post, I predicted that Kevin Durrant would make a difference in the series, and boy did he make a difference. He scored 38 points in a 113-91 Warriors rout. We all thought this was going to be closer, but ESPN said the Cavs have a 7% chance of winning. It looks like the Warriors are on their way to getting their revenge. They will try to come one win closer tonight at 8:00.


Image result for predators stanley cup 2017 goalIn the NHL, the Predators finally broke through and beat the Penguins. In Game One, the Predators had an early momentum, but when P.K. Subban's goal got overturned because of an offside, they lost that momentum. The Penguins took advantage of this and took a 3-0 lead, but Nashville tied it. The Penguins eventually won, but they only took 12 shots. The Predators had a chip on their shoulders in Game 2, and Pittsburgh took advantage. They took a 2-0 series lead with a 4-1 win, but the series moved to Nashville, and at one point, the Predators won 11 straight home playoff games. The Penguins took an early lead, but Nashville scored five unanswered goals to bring the series to 2-1.

Image result for edinson volquez no hitter                                                The first no-hitter of 2017 was thrown yesterday, when Edinson Volquez beat the Diamond-backs 3-0. He struck out 10 and only threw 96 pitches. This is the best time for sports. The Stanley Cup, NBA Finals, and MLB are all happening at the same time. Enjoy the games!

The San Antonio Spurs and the Toronto Raptors are moving on to the Second Round of the NBA playoffs. The Raptors eliminated the Bucks last night by a score of 92-89. In my new blog, I will follow the 4 major North American sports: basketball, baseball, hockey, and sometimes football, which is why it is 4 Sports Now and Then. Today, I will cover the NHL and NBA playoffs. Last night, the surprise Predators beat the Blues 4-3. Nashville swept the Blackhawks in Round 1. Being a Bruins fan, I was very happy about that. I hope they go far. Last night, P.K. Subban scored a goal and two assists on the anniversary of his first playoff performance. Nashville has a very good chance of advancing.The Oilers beat the Ducks 5-3. The Oilers have a lot of young talent, especially in Connor McDavid. Last night though, Adam Larsson and Leon Draisaitti were the heroes. Larsson scored two goals and Draisaitti had a goal and three assists. On the other side of the bracket, the New York Rangers will face the Ottawa Senators. I am rooting for the Rangers, because the Senators beat the Bruins. The Jazz are beating the Clippers 58-44 in the third in a Game 7 that will determine who will go home for the summer, and who will move on only to go home after the Warriors quickly dispose of them.
